The Pink Out Pep Rally was October 25 at 8 am in the LEE Gym, followed the day after by the Pink Out Game against Johnson at Comalander Stadium at 2pm. These events were to support Breast Cancer, so attendees, as well as those in the events, were decked out in pink.
The LEE band, Lee-ette dance team, and NESA dance teams all put on a show, along with the cheer team. There were games and interactive activities like games for the students to participate in.
“It was fun to see all the different programs get together and put on a show,” Sophomore band member Raina Siffuentes said.
The game against Johnson was also the JOLEE game, which is where the Johnson dance team and the LEE dance team perform together during halftime. They danced to I’m In Love With A Monster.
“It was very fun and a very new experience, and it was very very hot,” Sophomore Royal Ruby Dancer Guiliana Barrientos said.
Both the game and the pep rally were both great events that allowed students and staff to show support for breast cancer programs and breast cancer survivors.
